NPT forged 90-degree threaded elbow in Stainless Steel 304/316, Duplex Steel and Super Duplex Steel — manufactured to ASME B16.11 in Class 2000#, 3000# and 6000#.

The Forged Threaded 90 Degree Elbow is used to change the direction of a piping run by 90 degrees using screwed NPT or BSP connections, without welding. Both outlets carry female pipe threads that engage with the male-threaded pipe ends, enabling assembly and disassembly of the piping system without cutting or welding. The threaded elbow is used extensively in instrumentation, utility and process piping where the system may need to be broken for maintenance.
Cunimet Alloy International manufactures forged threaded 90-degree elbows through closed-die forging followed by precision CNC threading to ASME B1.20.1 (NPT) tolerances. The forged body provides superior strength over cast alternatives, particularly at the elbow crotch area. All threaded elbows are dimensionally inspected to ASME B16.11 and thread-gauged before dispatch.
“A” = Centre-to-Face dimension, measured from the centre of the elbow to the face of either thread outlet. Both outlets are equal. Threads per ASME B1.20.1 (NPT). All dimensions in millimetres.

Dimensions are nominal per ASME B16.11 latest edition. BSP threads to BS EN 10226 also available on request. All dimensions in millimetres.
Lightest-wall threaded fitting class. Equivalent to Schedule 80 pipe wall. Used for moderate-pressure utility services, instrument lines and general process applications where full 3000# rating is not required.
Standard high-pressure threaded fitting class. Equivalent to Schedule 160 pipe wall. The most widely specified class for general industrial, oil & gas and chemical process threaded fittings worldwide.
Heaviest-wall threaded fitting class. Equivalent to Double Extra Heavy (XXH) pipe wall. Specified for very high-pressure service, hydraulic systems and applications where maximum strength margins are required.
Austenitic stainless for chemical, food, water and process service threaded connections. SS 316 provides enhanced resistance to chloride pitting compared to SS 304 and is the preferred grade for marine and coastal environments.
High-strength austenitic-ferritic alloy with superior stress corrosion cracking resistance in chloride environments. Twice the yield strength of standard austenitic grades, enabling weight savings in high-pressure threaded systems.
Premium alloy with PREN greater than 40 for threaded connections in highly corrosive chloride environments including offshore, desalination, seawater injection and subsea chemical injection systems.
