Manufacturer & Exporter of Forged Fittings — Threaded Fittings | Socket Weld Fittings | Branch Outlets
Forged socket weld equal cross in Stainless Steel 304/316, Duplex Steel and Super Duplex Steel — four equal outlets at 90 degrees, manufactured to ASME B16.11.
The Socket Weld Equal Cross is a four-outlet forged pipe fitting with all outlets positioned at 90-degree angles in a single plane, forming a plus-sign geometry. Each of the four outlets accepts a pipe end into its socket, secured with a fillet weld, creating permanent high-pressure connections in four directions simultaneously.
The cross fitting is used where two intersecting pipelines must be connected at a single junction point. The equal cross configuration means all four outlets are the same nominal pipe size. Cunimet Alloy International manufactures SW crosses through closed-die forging, ensuring a structurally sound body at the highly stressed central intersection where all four outlets meet.
The forged central body of an equal cross is more compact and stronger than fabricated alternatives using branch connections, making it the preferred choice for high-pressure systems where minimising weld joints and maintaining structural integrity at the intersection is critical.
For an equal cross, all four outlets share the same Centre-to-End dimension “M” and identical socket bore and depth. All dimensions in millimetres.

Connecting two intersecting pipelines at a single junction in process plants, replacing two separate tee fittings with one compact cross fitting, reducing overall piping complexity and weld count.
Distribution manifolds in hydraulic power units and pneumatic control systems where four lines must connect at one junction point in a compact, leak-free arrangement.
Multi-point chemical injection manifolds in water treatment, desalination and chemical process plants where multiple process streams intersect at one dosing point.
Process instrumentation blocks and gauge manifolds in oil & gas facilities where four connections are required at a single measurement point on a piping circuit.
